Anyone here have any experience with 3D pens? Any models are better than others?

Saw one, wondering why I don't already own one, but I want to do my research first. I get the basic idea of drawing with hot strings of plastic. Wouldn't mind making the investment for a quality model.

My husband says he doesn't like the reviews he read about the 3Doodler. Aside from his one comment, I have no clue. hehehe

I'm curious to see what folks have to say.

I have a first gen 3Doodler. I find it rather fiddly, which may mean I just need to practice more! But I've not yet managed to make anything of note with it (or that's survived…)
