"The Art of the Doll" exhibit finally came down a couple of weeks ago and I got my dorries back. They had been there since about July 10th or so. The show was incredible- famous doll artists from all around the world, and a performance by Sha Sha Higby (which sadly I missed). Here's my exhibit. I made all the clothes, except the kimono, which was made by Maya Marie.

My exhibit of ball-jointed dolls. I was asked to do this when the people running the show realized there was no representation of this aspect of the doll world. I also did a booksigning and gave a slideshow/lecture.

That's pretty cool you got to have your dolls on exhibit there and whatnot. ^^

The half-elf was blushed tan by Mr. Google himself.

And it was hard to have them gone for so long, but it was for a good cause. The people at the Petaluma Arts Center said the exhibit was a big hit with people, most of whom had never seen these dolls before.

The Planet Doll Tara is about....43 or 44 cm? They are beautiful dolls, very unique faces.

The hardest part was having the Obitsu 50 cm body there, because I have a head here all painted and ready to put on it!
