My READ poster
Posted: Thu Aug 22, 2019 4:34 pmWe got a cool program to use for the months of our Summer Reading program at our library and some of us decided to test it out. (I'm a part-time library aide.) All the kids who made it to 100 hours of reading got a free poster of themselves plus a certificate and a book bag. Pictures were taken with an iPhone and then they chose a background and got a poster at the big finale party.

They are talking about having everyone make one before the program goes away at the end of the month and then having a 'staff picks' shelf with a different librarian choosing the books for the shelf each month and having their poster displayed. However, our director is retiring and we aren't sure if the new person will want to do this so we may wait til they are hired.
