Which tutorials and posts should be archived?

Postby DollyKim » Thu Jan 04, 2024 5:12 am

I have an account at archive(dot)org and I will gladly upload any tutorials or posts y'all feel should be saved. At least as screen captures if nothing else.
So please give me links to posts and I'll start squirrling!

How badly would you kill me if I suggested the Kizuna and Chitose thread?

How long is it? :P I'm not personally familiar with it so I'll need a link.

Archive is free to join and use. Everything I save from here would be in one location under a name like 'Dollieh Sanctuary library' and can be viewed and downloaded. If the posts save as pdfs I'll use that format, if not I'll take screen shots on my desktop then make pdfs.

It's over 100 pages, so way too long to try to take screenshots of.

I've been right clicking and saving the .html files of each page/post I wanted to keep archived.

It's pretty quick that way but of course isn't optimal. But I figure it's better than losing everything. :)

My browser does 'save as' web stuff and it also exports web pages as a pdf file. The only irritant to the pdf part is ad images might end up in the wrong place.

Anyone is welcome to upload Dollieh Sanctuary stuff on archive(dot)org for free, you just need an email. Their uploader is literally drag and drop for the files, and you can keep adding over time so all the posts can be in one location as opposed to a separate upload for each one. It's also easy to delete if you mess up.
