So what I'm getting from skimming over that is . . . They're saying they don't care if the person doesn't actually do ANY of the writing themselves. It can be entirely AI generated and still "count".

Long before AI was a thing I've seen people offering full "books" of repeated phrases for other people to copy on the RiMo. As someone who worked her brain off to get a first draft that was readable on the first try, I never could understand the point of that either.

I spent a few years looking for anyone to even beta read something, still haven't found one, and long story short this reminds me why I don't bother to even look at anything close to a contest for my creative endeavors. I can understand the desire to make it "readable" with my learning challenges and brain injury.

I never could get anyone on the forums there to read either. I don't put sex in my books, so I guess that made them unreadable to the nanoforum crowd.
