Intro:
This is my first attempt at trying to host a holiday gift exchange. I think that it would be a really fun thing to do. Everyone who would like to participate will be messaging or emailing me their information and I will assign partners. Since this is my first attempt at a swap, and I’m not sure of how successful it will be, there is no theme. All I ask is that you send some sort of clothing/ outfit items. Anyone is free to join in this swap, It is open to domestic and international doll owners. The items can be anything outfit related from a necklace and bracelet set, a wig, a pair of shoes or a full outfit. They only thing I ask is that you keep the value of the items at around $15USD (before shipping), especially if you are buying items instead of hand-making. Home-making heavily encouraged! IF you are hand making also keep in mind a $15USD value. PLEASE be fair with the items you send to someone, send your partner something you would like to receive.




Rules

1. All items you send in this swap must be part of or a whole outfit. This is a clothing/outfit swap. Props can be sent if you like, but don’t send JUST props. Sending the bare $15USD minimum is a must but extra goodies are encouraged.

2. I will take 19 participants. (me being #20)

3. You may not drop from this swap after partners have been assigned without a darn good reason! Sudden changes of hearts are not good reasons, please don’t join if you think you might end up dropping out. You will go on my black list along with flaky feedback. I hope nothing like this happens and we all have a great time!
Contact me ASAP if something arises IRL and you think you won’t be able to meet the deadlines for the swap. If you don’t contact me and fail to send your partner the items I won’t allow you to join another one of my swaps.

4. Links to feedback would set my mind at ease. Be it on eBay, or etsy or wherever you have your feedback. If you have no feedback you are still free to join, just don’t be flaky about it.

5. You can not have an empty Profile. Links to other online sights on your profile would be great, again to set my mind at ease and know that your not just a spammer trying to get some free stuff.

6. You are more than welcome to send items you already own and have used just make sure they are in gently used condition and not worn or beat up. You may not send Stock MH accessories or Clothing. *Since there is not much MH store bought clothing to choose from it's perfectly ok to resize Barbie or other clothing if you are buying or a beginner crafter. If you are not OK with receiving a resize Barbie gift please say so in the notes. I'll do my best to accommodate this.
Clothing I find fits MH best is Juku Couture. Blythe/pullip doll shoes fit MH girls, as well as some outfits with some resizing.

7. When you pack your items make sure you include a note with your contact information so that your partner can personally thank you. Also it’s a good idea to provide tracking, in case your items never show up, you have a way to track it and won’t accidentally end up on my blacklist.

Sign-up Days: Nov 5 - Nov 16, 2010
Partner Pairing by: Nov 17, 2010
Ship out items: on or before Dec 17,2010

Once you receive your swap partner's name and address, you may begin making or buying your items. Once your items are made, you may ship them at your leisure. However, all items must be shipped by December 17. This gives everyone 1 month to make, buy and send their items to their partner and receive theirs. Once your items have been sent, message me and let me know so that I can put you on the list of people who have sent their items out. I will give a leisure window up until Jan 5th for everyone to receive their items, if you don’t receive your items, message me and we can settle it. I will make a few extra items for those whose partners flake. Hope this is no one.

I will turn down people if they don't fill everything out. IF there is nothing you are particular about like what doll you recieve an outfit for, what country your partner is from or whether you get home-made or bought items then say so in the note. It's ok if you do care, just let me know. It is really important you to let me know if you can or can not ship internationally. In your items wishlist, simply put down what you would be most happy to receive like a hat, socks, coat, vest, shirt, shoes, pants, shorts, full outfit ect.
Also if you will be making something what you are able to make and your level of craftyness. (beginner, intermediate, experienced) And any other details you might want to list, like a personality for your doll if she has one outside of her default character.
