I've found a doll that I want but the problem is it's missing an arm (Ebay.) And it's a great price and I really want it but since I just checked Junkyspot and they only had arms for 27 cm dolls. (It's a 23 cm) What can I use for a replacement should I convince my mother to get me the doll? Should I buy a 27 cm arm and modify it?

The size difference is big enough that it won't work. You could modify an arm but it takes a good amount of skill and experience.

Then it's not worth it. My parents said no anyways. *sigh* But they said I could buy it with birthday money so at least I can go nuts on Junkyspot and Mimiwoo...This one's gonna be Riven.

I hope your birthday comes quick; it seems you've caught dolly fever. There is no known cure, but the cravings can be calmed with a steady influx of dolls and doll stuff

At the price of an Obitsu 23cm, unless you're creating a one-armed character, it is not worth it to get a doll missing those parts, no matter how good the bargain. Save your money up and get a new one from Junkyspot. Then you can customize her (or him) to whatever character you like, and have all the parts (including alternate hands, which on the 23/21cm set are adorable and very expressive). (note: Check here or on JS before you pick a head -- not all the heads work on all the bodies, so make sure you're getting a combination that will work!)
Warning: The little ones are ADDICTIVE. And incredibly cute and fun!

@ Delbelcoure - I hope so too. I want to get my new boy so badly.
@ JanetT - I'll look around on here and on JS. I'm still thinking of the size but Riven's character changed from Hujoo to Obitsu. I'm thinking green pre-root. (I'm going to try decals. Wish me luck.)

You can probably get your entire doll from Junky Spot, if he doesn't have anything from Obitsu in stock just ask. Are you wanting eyes again or are you going to paint the face? Wig or rooted? We love hearing about doll plans
I'd spam with pictures of my 23 with a type 4 head but bad I'm a bad mommy and need to take more "non website" pics of him and his friends.

I'm going to go with rooted since I got some Christmas money from my uncle. (Enough to get his body with magnetic feet.) I'm going to use decals instead of acrylics or painting him. But I will give him a decent face-up after his eyes are on. I just hope he's not as stubburn as Haruka to come apart in the middle of Wal-mart. I'm considering getting the pre-rooted blue haired head with holes for cat ears and then gold decals.
