At 2:05 in the video you can see positives for all the vinyl parts (sans head) for the coming 65cm male body.

That was very interesting! Thanks for posting the link MK. I hadn't been to Danny's blog in quite a while, so I had missed this.

It's interesting to note that while the heads are molded in the traditional PVC slush casting method, the bodies use a somewhat different approach.

I wonder if the injection molding for the ABS and POM parts is done off-site?

Man I'm a total sucker for "how things are made" videos this totally made my night. <3
A hobby isn't supposed to leave you wistful, regretful and vaguely disappointed. BJD collecting is as customizable as the dolls themselves. Do whatever pleases you the most, because otherwise, why do it at all? All for the 'Gram Bitches love the 'Gram.

I don't know if he ever posted it to his blog or not. He's been promising to but I haven't seen it yet. :p I just kind of lucked up and found it on youtube while looking for Obitsu videos. XD I thought the process was very interesting. I mean, I never would have guessed that the soft parts are pretty much boiled. Seeing how labor intensive it is to make each one gives me a whole new kind of respect for them.
