Bobobie Vs. Resinsoul

Hi guys. I was wondering if anyone could shed any light on this subject (since I've been wondering about it). When I got my girl, I knew she was a Bobobie Mei. But now, there's also a Resinsoul Mei which is the same thing. It's the same for other molds, too. They have different sites but all the same dolls. Are they the same company?

BBB does the casting for RS. I think the RS sculptor might have worked for BBB before and they have a very close relationship. They are kind of like sister companies. BBB does have their own original sculpts. The ones on RS are only RS dolls but BBB carries both BBB and RS dolls.

The BBB bodies are different than the RS bodies. When you order RS dolls from BBB, they come on BBB bodies unless otherwise noted or if you request the RS body from BBB. Both are very good companies to deal with. Both Sun (RS) and Dennis (BBB) (correct me if I'm wrong) are really nice.

Nice, but slow. At least with Dennis from BBB, sometimes it can take almost 2 weeks for him to get back to you via email.

When ever I see an "XYZ doll vs. ABC doll" heading, in the back of my mind I half expect to see a WWF cage match style photostory with the two dolls battling it out for whatever it is the WWF wrasslers battle it out for.

But thanks for the clarity on the BBB/RS issue. (And now I know!)

Aside from how nice the companies are to work with--which I've never had the pleasure of finding out, since my Mei was an eBay rescue, and the BBB Apollo I just purchased for a friend's birthday was also a third hand (?) eBay rescue--I just love the dolls themselves. They're beautiful sculpts and reasonable prices: An awesome combination ^.^

Indeed, I was originally drawn to BBB because of their sculpts, but now I'm starting to lean towards RS myself. Their bodies epically the Rong body for MSD sized is just so much better then the stock BBB bodies.

Resinsoul (Sun) nearly always replies to email within 24 hours.
Sun is such a joy to deal with that I always order my dolls through Resinsoul directly and always do it through emails.
Plus, you can't beat those cute doll carriers that the dolls ordered from Resinsoul come in!
I really only like Resinsouls sculpts so I've never dealt with Bobobie, but I can tell you Resinsoul is just a lovely company.
I've never had a doll ordered from them take more than 30 days to ship out. I once even had a doll ship in two and a half weeks! I really appreciate the wait times, being as impatient as I am!

So if I was interested in getting a Sprite head on a Rong body, can I go through RS or do I have to go through BBB, or alternatively is there any stores (JS/DDE/FF) that do special orders like that? I was going to post that question on JS but I just had no idea where.
