When I feel frustrated or burnt out on any hobby, I put it away. I box all of my dolls up so they're out of sight for a while. Maybe a week or two. Then when I pull them out again it re-freshens my view of them, and next thing you know I'm laughing about some silly idea and making a photostory. I guess that sounds strange but it helps for me to do things in bursts with breaks.
As for dolls being natural for a guy, you're talking about societal expectations for male versus female interests/hobbies and that's not fair to you. I'm a girl and I collect guns and watch "movies for guys who like movies" on a regular basis. So, does that make me unnatural for a chick? Nah. It just makes me Me.
I was once told that comparison was the beginning of self-hatred. I'll never be as skinny as my sister, or as intelligent as my mother, or as artistic as my friends, or... or... or... that's not fair. They'll never be as __________ as me. It's all relative.
I'm going off topic. Meh. You know what I mean.
You be you, dude. Collect what you want. Or don't. Just be you.
