your very own Steve Jobs doll

Part of me is very impressed on how realistic he looks.
The other part of me is kind of creeped out and thinking that it is too soon.

What do you think? Anyone want to get one?

The quality is amazing, but I agree that it's a bit soon. And although I don't freak out easily, I have to admit to being a tiny bit freaked by this. I don't know if it's because the doll looks too realistic (I'll take "Uncanny Valley" for $500, Alex), or because the dude's only been dead a few months, or what.

I...ah...guess there are some people out there who just *really* love Steve Jobs? Kudos to the artist. A bit too fantastic of a job for my taste.

Amazing but way too soon and creepy that people are already trying to make money off his death.
I'm mostly on Tumblr now.

Why?

I mean, seriously, why?

I suppose the people who worship everything he ever made will want one, but given as I not only don't own anything from Apple, I don't plan on ever owning anything made by Apple I don't see the point.

Mind you I wouldn't buy a Bill Gates action figure either and I do own microsoft stuff.

Cheaper Steve http://www.wantedactionfigure.com/produ ... asp?id=847 but DIDs are pretty good dolls. Outside of Robot Chicken I don't know how much of a market there is for this but at least they could have given him some iStuff.

That would have probably cost them some hefty licensing fees. Job's mug isn't trade marked and copyrighted, all that Apple stuff is.

Found a place to get just the iStuff http://www.urbansamuraihobbies.com/iceostore-ipad/

The whole Steve and stuff is just over $100 at the low end on Ebay, having seen pics of just the doll and with the estimation of piecing one together that's not all that bad of a price for a full set.
