Why is my name Purple?

Some of you may have noticed the sudden change in your username's color. What does this mean and what does it mean to you?
Well, as mentioned in a message I sent before I went to CCBJD, a vote was taken amongst the mods and it was decided, that while we do not seek to be a repressive regime, we do feel that selling stuff in the Swap Meet is a priviledge that should be earned by participation.
Please note that I said SELLING - we also agreed that if newbies want to spend money who are we to argue?
The post count for selling in the Swap Meet is 50. Until you reach that point you will have the same rights as anyone else except for that section - where you can surf, read and reply, but not start a topic. As I recall at Jspot when a similar rule was put in place, most people who got upset did so because they couldn't shop anymore so that shouldn't be a problem here.
Now I can already hear someone saying "But so-and-so only has 20 posts and THEY can sell." Anyone with less than 50 who has the ability to sell in the Swap Meet has that right because they earned it in one of our previous incarnations AND they are actively participating here. If you feel you should have been granted such status, please do not whine about it publically - I am human and in all probability I missed some folks. Send me a PM explaining why I should have included you and unless you have annoyed the hell out of me in the last thirty days (I have a long memory) I will probably concede my mistake and give you permission.
Remember, the key here is PARTICIPATION. Just because you've been here since day one, doesn't mean anything if you only lurk and never post. Nothing against lurkers, mind you, but a forum is only worth the contributions of it's members and like other forums before us, we've decided that selling should be an earned privaledge.
