You may remember when Wildwoodflowers beautiful and very unique and original BJDs were stolen from her car when she stopped in LA for the night on her way to her new home in New Orleans. After at least a year (maybe two??), these dolls have now shown up on ebay.
She filed a report with the LAPD, so there is an official paperwork trail, and she certainly has hundreds of witnesses who recognize her doll and remember when they were stolen, certainly will be able to identify them.

ANYWAY- please take a look, and DO NOT BUY THESE STOLEN DOLLS!

Did you (or the original owner) report the listings to ebay?

She has to have the police contact ebay in order to file the complaint. So she has contacted the LAPD and hopefully they will contact Ebay to get it rolling. I imagine Ebay will freeze the guy's ebay account. He has 1700 sales with 100% positive feedback. So I suggested she contact him and tell him they are hers, have been reported to the LAPD as stolen, and that she is going to open an ebay investigation if he doesn't send them to her. He may decide keeping his ebay account and all the positive feedback he has built up open is more important than selling her stolen dolls. He may not have been the person who stole them- he may be selling them for the thief, or he may have picked them up at a garage sale, flea market, etc.

That really sucks. I hope whoever stole them gets his ass kicked for it, and I hope she gets her dolls back before anyone can buy them. Do they know about this on DOA yet?

Yes, they do - I saw the notification in the "missing and stolen dolls" sticky.

I find it HIGHLY significant the seller knows what kind of doll they are.
All his other items are mens stuff.
The person that stole them knows about bjds
Grrrr Get 'em!!!

I wouldn't be so hasty to jump for a noose to hang this guy. It's been over 2 years since they were stolen, and it's possible that he may not have been the first person to have them in that time. It might take a little research, but it would not be too hard for someone outside of the hobby to figure out what they are.

Looking through his seller history shows that he's sold all different sorts of things over the years.

Hopefully this break helps them find the other dolls too, whether or not he is the one who stole them.

He clearly knows about BJDs though. He describes how they have yellowed and how they have been modified.
