The long overdue Dracula-chan thread

Postby yarwel » Mon Aug 13, 2012 7:47 pm

Hi, :D . So, I've been meaning to post pictures of this guy for a while. I made him, oh, back in January. Anyways, I made him for a creative literature project at my high school when we were reading dracula. While I was sewing his tiny outfit I started adding the chan honorific to his name and it stuck, much to his chagrin. Anyways, on with the pictures.

First here's a picture without clothes. You can see the many mistakes I mad in his design. Oh, by the way, he's made of polymer clay. Image

Next, a picture with his cloak on! He can't stand on his own while wearing his cloak; it is too bulky/rigid.Image

Standing on his own! He can do this for about ten seconds, but only when he's wearing his pants  Image

Touching his toes. I think he can only do this because his arms are apishly long. Image

I don't really know what this is. I was taking pictures and discovered his posing abilities were much greater than I originally thought. Image

And as a bonus here's a picture of the blue girl I'm working on at the moment.Image

He looks great! His outfit is awesome too. I especially love his shiny vest!! I made the VERY same mistake with Lizzette, my handmade BJD. Her arms are sooooo long!

So far the blue girl looks great, I can't wait to see more progress! Is she made out of polymer too?

Yes, she is polymer. I really just need to make her head but it's hard so I need some inspiration on how to make it effectively.
