Acorn and Pumpkin

Postby famedglory » Sat Nov 19, 2011 1:04 pm

So these are two little resin cast cuties that I finally finished up. School kept delaying me finishing the molds and casting them. I'm happy with how they've come out and the first person who got an Acorn seems to really love him, which makes me so happy.

Just after they were cast and sanded.

Pumpkin and Acorn are really cute, but my favorite in your Etsy shop is the 1" scale boy, particularly sitting on the shoulder of a larger doll. You should add a picture of him here for others to see -- I'm keeping my eye open to see when he's available on skin tone!! Keep up the good work...

Thanks everyone! I had a lot of fun sculpting them.

claywimmen - Thanks so much! I'm going to try getting the right pigment/resin ratio down in December. I've been meaning to/lightly experiementing with it but school/work hasn't allowed me the time to do it properly. After I graduate in a couple weeks I should be able to get it right. :D
