Never even held the stuff outside the wrapper. XD I've considered grabbing a brick every time I'm in the sculpting section at Michael's or JoAnn's craft stores. Never actually got around to doing so.

Also: Men. Source of much rolling of the eyes.

That stuff is pretty fun. It depends on the thickness but everything I've done has usually completely dried in 24 hours. Very rarely has it taken about 36 hours.

Seriously? After over two days the clay still feel soft and flexible. The hollow body part, that is. The paws feel pretty hard.

Huh. Maybe it's more humid where you are? The room most of my doll stuff happens in is also kind of freakishly dry. Maybe you could try putting it in the oven on a very low temperature. If you do try that, keep the oven door at least cracked open a little so that it doesn't overheat the clay.

A friend told me that it's normal for Premier clay to take this long to dry..? She says her clay was still soft after a week.

The thing is, everywhere online you'll find out that Premier clay has a 'long' drying time, but the exact info on HOW long is nowhere to be found.

If you do stick it in the oven on a low temp. be careful with the head. I don't know what they eyes are made of, but plastic melts. lol I'm sure you knew that though.

I love the new face! It's really cute! >w<

Thanks! Yeah, that's why I got the self-drying stuff, I am NOT gonna stick it in the oven, it will cause this particular clay to break. But I'm already stringing the body actually ^^
