WIP Kaiden

I was going through a basket of stuff that was given to me by someone and in it I found a horribly abused Dora the Explorer doll. She's obviously been through a lot, but her adventures are not over just yet. I'm christening her Kaiden in her new life.





Poor girl's hair was mutilated. I shudder to think what was in it, but it was definitely not just hair.



I had to have hubby behead her for me because this sucker would not let go. No wonder why he gets creeped out by dolls. XD



Nasty hair gone, plugs...getting there. I hate ripping plugs.



All cleaned up and spiffy.



I EAT YOUR SOUL! Her stock paint was very tenacious and this was where my magic eraser, nail polish remover and patience all ran out at more or less the same time. I need to make a run to the store before I keep going on her.

It felt chalky and almost like soap residue, I'm guessing from someone trying to wash it at some point. It was pretty nasty. I think the half-gone face is kind of cute in its own way but hubby doesn't agree.

Honestly I think her original face scares me more than the half gone face. Without the paint, the face itself is actually really cute looking.

I agree with Britbrat18... The original face up is terrifying, I always found the kid's show a little creepy as well. I can't wait to see what you change and fix up with her though.
