Starting a new doll.... (UPDATED AND NAMED)

Alrighty then folks, been taking a long break from working on Victor an to get back into the spirit of working on him I decided to build a somewhat simple doll. She will be a hybrid of a few different styles I have observed with doll making and While she will not be a BJD she will have some qualities associated with them, like a movable head and hands. here is a picture of her progress so far over the last day and a half.
She will be painted matt black with skeletal markings in white. What do you think so far?
~~~~~~~~AUGUST/16/12 UPDATE~~~~~~~~
I have done a little more with her, having finished her body and painting I have begun constructing clothes for her. I will also be making jewelery for her as well as a kind of pretty hat type thing. No, her pants are not blue, that is simply the color of the fabric I had laying around to make her soft thighs out of, I am currently in the process of sewing her pants to match her corset and sleeve bits.. There is a hole drilled through her hips so that the legs are fastened in place... No glue in involved in holding her together, all hemp cords, fireline ultra thin wire thread for bead work holding some bits in place.
By the way, her corset was incredibly difficult for someone used to making them more than 20 times that size for actual living breathing people to wear. Her neck also has a mini corset that also laces up the back, the corset, the shirt under it (Which is sewn into the corset) and the neck thing are removable all though I don't like to fiddle with it much... She is not a dress up doll, though that outfit is meant to stay on her I made it removable in case she ever needs repairs. (Most of her is built pretty solid, the only things I could foresee needing repair with age, wear and tear would be her elbow joints and as her arms are rather slender and delicate, though fairly hardy for cooked sculpy)
And the moment you have probably been waiting for me to get too instead of babbling is her new name. Dirili's list was a big help for inspiration, thanks for the suggestions guys! Her name will be Maliflora Astrid.
Picture time!
