Okay, I posted her shots over in JS, but decided to post them here too... mainly because I got Zirc on my back about it. XD

I'm still missing some parts to her legs, and that's why I haven't strung her yet. Since this is a first print, Alice still has some weird glitches to work out. There's a slight issue with her torso that I want to deal with before making her *full* sized print.

Also got the full-sized prints of her feeties. Those seem to work okay. Might change the toes a little to make them fit just that much better in the shoes. Though, before I do that, I want to try them in a couple of other shoes just to make sure this is something necessary. ^.~

Thank you for the compliment on Alice! At this size, she's seriously ADORABLE!!! ^______^

Gave Alice a half-hearted stringing. I'm still waiting on a set of pieces to arrive, so, I don't want to do anything permanent to her till those arrive and I can finish verifying how she moves. Here's a a set of cute shots showing her standing 'tall' and proud! though none too stable-ly. ^.~

Also, talked to Gerry. She can loan me a set of 6mm eyes for Alice to use. Woot!!!

Is it the photos of does her body have a "carved" texture?

I think that's because it's a raw print, Lon. There's been no manual smoothing (read: sanding) of the visible polygons from the 3D program used to create her.

Standing perfectly without feet? What magic is this?!

Lon, Ookami beat me to it... she's a 3D print. Specifically an SLS Nylon 3D print. The 'carved' texture is the poly's from my model. I haven't bothered to sand this little darling down, mainly because, this one is a half-sized test print. When I've finished fussing with her jointing, I'll print out a 'large' 1:3 scale version of my girl. The 1:3 scale print is the one that will be spiffed out. ^.~

Zirc, I know, right? She really does have some fabulous attitude! What I love about her is the fact that she's 'registering' as a 1:3 scale doll... NOT as a 1:6 one. XD

Gift, Hemostats. Hemostats are pure magic... and always shall be. ^___^

Ohhh. You know, I didn't even think of that. I was wondering if it was a texture that was added on purpose or something. When I look closer I can see it's a bit more "digital" looking, particularly on the chest.
