Hi. I seem to have a problem with the photos. They don't seem to be loading. Is anyone else having that problem?

I'm assuming you aren't having a problem with using the IMG tags on the post a reply screen (if not speak up).

The hardest part about posting photos is finding the exact URL where the picture is located. If your post comes up saying "user image" where a picture should be, that means the URL you put between the IMG tags was not correct. Usually the picture's location is not the URL that displays at the top of your browser when you view the picture on your image hosting site. That's the URL of that page, not the images on it. They all have tricks for getting the picture's true URL.
What image hosting service are you using, Flickr, Photobucket, etc.?
And what browser are you using, Explorer, Firefox, Safari, etc.?

I'm having trouble too, and I have never had a problem before.
I click image, click in the Photobucket direct link, and all that shows up when I preview the post is the web address of the picture.

are you sure you have the image url sandwiched between the IMG tags and not URL tags? I know it sounds dorky, but believe it or not I've done that more than once myself by mistake *greyhaunt wins dork points*

Yes, I'm sure.
I click img, the cursor blinks, I right click paste (having copied from Photobucket already), and the image address comes up, as it usually does. Then I hit preview, and there's no picture.

-edit- Perhaps it's a Photobucket problem..? Or it's not a direct link to the image... Can you post it?

Okay, it's working now, for some reason. Maybe it was a Photobucket problem.

Hi. I am still having a problem seeing the photos on my computer. I have just posted a photo on the bobobie forum and it is working! I tried to put some photos and it is not working. I know about the code and selecting the img to img bit with the square brackets. It has worked before and recently the photos do not want to download - the writing comes up, but no photos. Can anyone suggest anything?
