Thanks for the welcome everyone! 70cm dolls always have lovely sculpts! I fell in love with the DZ alpha and have been debating for over a year on the DZ Ying in the junkyspot shop, especially since Ying is no longer being produced by DZ from what I can see, I just love that he has more of a square chin than most dolls. I'm not sure I looked too much at the larger Iplehouse boys a manly man man would be fun to add to the bunch. XD

Size is a tad important, obviously the price is different but I'm trying to have me first dolls if not be then at least cosplay my two favorite RP charries. The girl's height is between 4'10 and 5' depending on my mood. XD And the boy is 6'1 if I remember correctly so I was trying for a similar size difference with the dollies. Figured about 15cm difference would work. Or maybe so the dolls look like so when standing together. I think a 45 next to a 60 would look a bit smaller than I look in that pic but it should work out. XD I realized when doing the size comparison that 70cm was huge! But I still love their sculpts so much. XD But I like the 1/4 size sculpts for my girly as the 50-55cm were a bit too mature for what I was generally going for. So difficult! I'll stick with my 1/4 dolly just to see what I think and debate about my boy. XD

But I absolutely must have a Shoyo! She's too adorable. XD And Alpha is just quite lovely in my opinion.

1/4 is a really great size. My first doll was 70cm and he came into my life accidentally from another local doll person. I love him more than anything and I would never trade him, and I love all my larger dolls, but I realize now that 1/4 would have been a better size to start out at. As for height difference, my 70cm boy has a 58cm girlfriend. Here's a picture from her box opening. Notice she's wearing heels.

Maybe they want Visual k type dollies? XD Kamau's makeup in that picture kinda makes me think of that.
Just realized my Leona will look a bit different from what I was thinking but it should still be ok. ^_^ Peach Gold skin is paler than I was expecting but should still be fine. *Bounces* Too excited for my own good. Hopefully hanging out with my roomie next week will help distract me from the wait. Waiting is hard. ><
