Another Canuck joins up

*waves* Yep, another Canadian here (Ontario to be specific). I stumbled across this board while looking for some info on Obitsus and I have to say that I really liked the idea of a place where I could discuss all my dolls without having to make... excuses for having a doll(s) that is OT in other places since he's an important part of my doll family.

I've been in the hobby for roughly 4 years and my collection now numbers 18 dolls *gasp*. I'd intended to only have 2 (Moswen and Kijika). Go ahead, laugh. I was a noob and had no idea of the mind/wallet control these things gain over you once you invite just one into your house.

All my dolls are characters from the novels I write. Thankfully, not all my characters demand to be shelled or I'd be completely over-run by the dolls. But the ones that do are very persistent about that happening and I'm constantly resisting adding more dolls. I'm fairly certain crack is cheaper and possibly less addictive. I have 9 MSD, 3 SD's and 6 tinies.

I make almost all my dolls clothes and jewellery as well as making several of my dolls wigs and modding some pre-made ones to fit their characters or weird head/ear shapes. I have pretty much zero skills at face-ups and I'm generally too chicken to try any modding. But I get crazy ideas to try stuff every now and again so I may yet overcome my fear of utterly screwing up one of my dolls and actually try something.

The Dragon's Muse (Gunari/Misu) is out for submission so not available to the public at this time (but it hopefully will be soon *crosses fingers*).
