When working with your vinyl dolls, keep a container of baby wipes nearby - particularly if you are working with paint or pastels or anything that can put residue on your hands! Before touching your doll, wipe your hands clean. Something as simple as pastel dust on your fingers can end up in a stained doll.

Would face wipes be as good or are baby wipes gentler? My daughter gave me her 27cm Obitsu and she has been well played with.

Face wipes are probably ok - but if you are going to use them on the doll, be sure that there are not extra chemicals or oils or things in them. I generally only use them on my hands to avoid dirtying the doll, but I've done a bit of quick cleaning too.

I usually use a wet paper towel or a small container of water with a dry paper towel handy so I can dip/wipe my fingers occasionally. I also always keep some cleaning sponge handy to clean up the doll occasionally while doing face ups.

Watch out for those paper towels with print on them! The print stains! Ugh!
I learned this the hard way...sigh...
