I bought my senior delf second hand and she is rather dirty. I don't mean stains, I mean dirt. I was wondering how I could clean her. She's got body blush that I don't want to ruin.

I thought that would ruin the bodyblush.
Does it have to be magic eraser made for dolls or can it be some sheap thing I found with the same name?

As long as the body has been done with MSC or something similar then the magic eraser wont damage it, as far as I know! I've always got them from doll sites however... I have no idea if you can get them on the highstreet though!

Ok, thanks for the help :) I should ask in some swedish forum if anyone has used that one on dolls, because it's a swedish brand.

Do you wet the Magic Eraser or leave it dry..?

Leave the erasure dry for surface cleaning... high percentage isopropyl alcohol and erasure for removing face ups, tattoos, body blush etc.

You don't want to rub TOO hard though if you don't want to damage the face up/body blush even dry.

Ooh, I'm gonna learn from this thread too! *Takes out a pen and notepad.*

What about just soapy water? Would that work too?

Actually, mild baby shampoo and water will work too. I would try that first. Magic Eraser could damage the blush. Once the doll it totally dry from that you can use the Magic Eraser on any remaining stubborn stains. Use a white clean towel or paper towel. Do not use paper towels with any colored pictures on them - they could transfer onto the doll.
