Polymer clay and resin/ABS

Postby ShortNCuddlyAm » Fri Oct 11, 2013 9:42 am

Not sure this is the right place to ask...

Does fully cured polymer clay (Sculpey Premo & Studio, and Fimo Effect) leach any nasty chemicals that are likely to react badly with various resins and ABS if left in contact with them for any length of time? I'm thinking of making some clay eyes...

I don't think this would be a problem at all. Once the clay is baked all the plastilizers(I think this is the right word) that keep the clay soft(and do nasty things to other plastics) should be evaporated out of the clay. ;)
