PETALUMA ARTS CENTER - JULY 17TH, 1:00 PM
Posted: Mon Jul 05, 2010 10:45 am
Location: Petaluma Arts Center
230 Lakeville Street at E. Washington
(next to the Visitors Center). Entry is via East Washington.
Please come to the Petaluma Arts Center on July 17 at 1 PM and bring your dolls!
I will be hosting a book-signing at the Petaluma Arts Center on July 17th at 1:00 PM and am really hoping for a presence of Asian Ball-Jointed Dolls at the event. The show that is opening that day at the Arts Center is all about dolls. Link here:

There is a "suggested donation" of $5 that goes to the Arts Center (not me).
Since I will be busy with the exhibit I won't be able to officially host the meet-up. However, I will have goodie bags with cards and Japanese candy. The first ten people to show up with a ball-jointed doll will receive a flowered head garland for their doll:
The Petaluma Arts Center is a great space- besides the actual gallery, there is a beautiful rose garden with benches:
A nice lawn and shade tree- bring a blanket to sit on and a picnic:
And finally- some really cool old trains that you can climb around on- perfect for photo ops!
Please come! Petaluma is a great town, and the Arts Center is just a few blocks off the main shopping district which has a lot of cool and unique shops, Starbucks, restaurants, bookstores and antique stores, etc. Since the show at the Art Center is mainly other types of dolls, I am really hoping that a contingent of ball-jointed doll people will show up so we can have a presence at the show!
