Can anyone tell me the name of this male sculpt?

Can anyone tell me the name of this male sculpt?

Postby MeltedCaramel » Fri Mar 28, 2014 3:26 pm

Hi everyone! I decided to put this in "Dollieh Talkin'" because I have no idea what the scale is this doll is in. I apologize, but I didn't want to put it in the wrong area! I'm currently searching around and trying to decide on my first resin boy, and I've found a few sculpts I like, but everyone knows how it feels to try and find that "perfect doll". ;) The picture is from an Ebay auction for clothing and doesn't give any information on the doll.

Image I'm hoping he's 1/4 range, it's so hard to find mature male sculpts in that size.

Can any of you resin experts help me? Thank you so much as always in advance! :D

Fragggaahhahgaha. Yeah, it's Dollzone Hong, almost 90% sure. SO OF COURSE HE'S HUGE, I WANT HIM SO WHY WOULDN'T HE BE? Thanks, both of you. At least the mystery is solved!! He's so gorgeous but I just CAN'T. I wish there was a way to shrinkydink these damn things.

If you are looking for a mature MSD boy - Luts just came out with one - and he's a cutie!

And Ringdoll is often very similar to older Dollzone sculpts - you could check them out. I think this boy in SD 60cm is very nice!

Yeah, luts has new 45cm boys called Model Delfs, which are basically shrinky-dinked versions of their Senior Delfs. Gorgeous, gorgeous boys. There are three or four standard sculpts, and two limited fantasy sculpts.

Thank you everyone! The Model Delf Abadon is a gorgeous, gorgeous sculpt! I'm really leaning towards him, especially because I think his face is masculine enough to take a few laugh lines and show a bit of age without looking strange (many sculpts look like prematurely aged models if they're a bad base sculpt to "age up"). The body is perfect as well, muscular and looking like a man who does physical work, which fits my character perfectly! He looks like he would look wonderful with shorter hair too. :D Hmnnnn...he even seems to have a bit of age lines already around his eyes, which I love! Not sure if that's an accident of design or if they did it on purpose but I would love to get in there with carving tools and make them just a bit more pronounced... Ahhh, I've gone from absolutely nothing to being 85% sure I've got both of my guys ideal shells in the space of a few days!! Wow! You are all so great! <333
