I know right? I have my own little corner of the world and I hate the fact that I can't go anywhere. You need a driver's liscence just to use a Moped or a Vespa scooter. And those buggers can max out at 50-60 MPH depending on make and model and how old it is.

I have to travel about 20 miles just for a meetup where I live. They always meet at a bubble tea/yogert shop. Trying to work up the bravada to go with my girl.

Aww, congrats. Nice to see a guy in the mix. At least I hope you are. If not, well oops, my bad. Although I can be considered one of the guys even though I myself am a female. Oh, and don't feel too intimidated, and don't be afraid to ask the owners questions.

I would love to go to a meet up, but I don't have a ride and hubby hates going out of town for anything I wanna do.

Thanks, I get flac sometimes about being a guy who likes dolls, but It doesent bother me too much. I do feel pervy sometimes, looking at doll clothes, lol. I can talk to people about anything so im not afraid to ask questions. Most people love to talk about what they love. Im sorry your husband wont take you, its helpful when you have someone who supports your hobbies. I hope he takes you to one sometime. My wife dosent want to go to one either.

lol, yeah. Hubby thinks it's just another really expensive doll, which it is, but it's also art. Not like those creepy old fashioned porcelain dolls from France in the 1800s. Those things are evil creepy.

My husband isn't into dolls but a friend's husband most certainly is, as well as another guy I know who who is a member of our local group when he's well enough to attend. My friend's husband doesn't get involved with our group much, but he's bought a couple dolls of his own and is very particular about their "look", including wigs, eyes and clothing. And nothing give him more pleasure than being able to surprise his wife with doll money periodically.
