What makes your doll unique?

General discussions about dolls, new releases, doll reviews...you know, stuff that doesn't really fit in all the other categories but is strictly about dolls.

Naming names isn't mean if you're not being mean. I'm just saying that there are degrees to which a doll is made completely unlike it's original factory design. I stuck a wig on my doll, and gave it a face and a personality and that alone makes them unique, but other folks have modded, drilled, sanded, and painted to the point they're unrecognizable. In the world of Unique, I'd say I'm a yellow belt, and some folks are black belts. It isn't a competition and there is no good/bad value added to the uniqueness/factoryness of a doll.

Richi is unique because of her size and her wardrobe. There aren't a lot of Pikos out there. Richi has enough clothing to clothe almost everyone sold.
There is also the fact that I adore making and finding things for her use.

Each one of my dolls is unique--every mmber of the Krewe has been modified in some way--but Cherry is my muse and my delight. She has gone through so many changes in the five years I have owned her--heads, eyes, bodies, faceups...and some would argue that she's no longer the same doll at all. But the personality she has developed is all her own, and with her Moxie Teenz repainted head and her Volks EB tan body, I can honestly say she's an original.
