What doll artist is this?

i remember seeing a long time ago someone who did such detailed and realistic work on her dolls' faces that they looked like they were alive. the person who did this was a woman, i think from Russia, and i think part of her pseudonym was "Madame". i remember her taking lots of pictures in the snow or woods. anyone know her?

sadly, i don't. this may just be suspicion, but i have the foggiest feeling that she had a doll that was styled after Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock. not sure.
