Sorry not sure how I missed that! I think I'm going with eyechip swapping since cba working out how to rig a hinged bar through a pair of half rounds!
Hrmm I'm pretty much at eyechip picking stage... And I've found a pair that I think are a lovely colour... But there's a but.
Measured the stock chips out of my Taeyang - without having vernier calipers or a micrometer within reach this is a roughish number - but the chips that came out of my, rather old, Taeyang Hook are far closer to 13mm than 12mm. Annoyingly they're definitely less than 13mm but they're a lot bigger than 12mm... Which I think helps to partially explain the 12/13mm thing of the eyechips I've found. I'm guessing 12mm chips would have slight gapping, and 13mm would need a cursory sanding around the edges.
Anyone who's swapped out their pullip/taeyang chips recently got a suggestion on this? The chips I'm eyeing up are a customised set of painted acrylics - so I'm a tad nervous that any attempt to resize them would (lol) chip the paint. Or I suppose I could give a gentle sand around the inner edges of the eye sockets.
