This is so informative! The first doll I wanted to buy was the Arte Tokio 27L body. I could not find a head, though, except a Hot Toy head I think it was, which was very expensive. Also, I am not sure if all dolls they make are ethical and not fishy.

The ATdoll Lovely027 looks similar, and is slightly cheaper. Plus no ethical problems like Arte Tokio. The Phicen aren't as nice, they have weird folds if you pose them. The Hot Stuff Edation looks nice, but not as natural as AT and Tokio.

We don't talk about "adult" dolls or adult situations with dolls on this board. There is a section for 18+ doll stories if you're old enough to go there.

The silicone dolls in question are higher end versions of bendy toys and dolls like Bend and Flex Barbie who have a solid skin with a wire frame inside.

There are full size silicone child dolls that are not for sex, but I don't think we're allowed to talk about any full sized silicone dolls at all even if they aren't sex dolls? Something about them being too eerily realistic or something I was told.

The Lovely Dolls from ATdoll is what I have, so that's what I garnered the information in my post from.

The Phicen and Hot Stuff Edation dolls (I have an Edation one too myself) are made of a harder silicone and separates more easily at the seams. I was rather disappointed with mine.

The skeletons are not wire, but a combination of plastics and metal with hinges and pivots. I haven't seen any high end silicone dolls that have only wire frames yet, although some have wires for fingers and toes.

I've never been able to find pics of the skeletons for Tokio or Lovely Dolls , but they are way stronger and seem to be more complex. My Edation doll's poses are stiffer and far more limited than my Lovely Doll is.

Thought I'd also mention, although I've never been able to find pics of the actual skeleton of my 60cm Lovely Doll, from what I can tell, it feels more like an armature skeleton something like this but suited more for the dolls' shapes:

Thank you for the armature pictures, I had no idea. I think the Phicen and Edation dolls reflect the quality in their lower price.

It's okay, we just want to make sure it doesn't get out of hand. There have been a couple of people in the past who got out of hand. I looked for pictures of some of the dolls mentioned and most of the pictures made the dolls look sexual.

That metal armature resembles what they put in a lot of stop motion puppets. I've wanted to get or make a couple of those to play with.
