Question about JS re-stocking?

Question about JS re-stocking?

Postby ~TurkishDelight~ » Sun May 05, 2013 3:10 am

Hi, I'm really shy and I feel too nervous to post this at JS, but I had a question about Emory. I heard if you asked him to order doll parts that weren't in-stock he could get them for you. I was wondering if this was true, because people told me he would take note of your request and add it to the site when he re-stocked, but he never did after I asked. It's been almost two years now since I asked him, and I feel dumb asking this question, but I have been waiting and wondering for a long time, and now I'm afraid the parts I want might not be made anymore, when they were back then.

You actually need to remind him, because he's only one person with a full time job outside the dolls. What parts were you needing and from which doll?

Let's see...I'm not sure if I will remember everything, because my memory isn't so good right now. But if you know if they are still available anywhere, it would be great. Though I probably don't have the money now, I still would like to know if I'll be able to get them one day. I didn't want to harass poor Emory, because I know it must be hard. I was wondering if there was maybe a waiting list? I was happy he did re-stock the bodies and shoes I need though, but can I still find these parts?

Reminding him is often the best policy. I can say that more than once I failed to and he didn't end up ordering what I wanted :( As mentioned though, he pretty much has two full-time jobs so I never hold that against him :)

If you can't get through to JS just order what you want direct from Parabox. They have an English site and a yen converter for convenience. I'm not trying detract from JunkySpot's business of course but the two-jobs thing only carries so far before one considers alternatives. If it isn't in stock, I go direct. I didn't used to but after waiting six months for a reply on several requests for a special order I gave up and bought my bits n' pieces direct from the company. It isn't that I bear JS any ill will, and I always choose JS if I can, but there's no reason to wait a half a year on a request that probably causes him more trouble than it's worth. I don't think he makes much profit off of my smaller items so I don't feel guilty about it and I don't bug him about it anymore.

Oh, I see. I guess I shouldn't have waited so long. I should have reminded him because now those items aren't at Parabox either. I just didn't want to bother him. I thought I was on the list, but whenever he'd restock the pieces never came. Maybe I can find them somewhere else or buy the painted Regular head and remove the paint, a bald W-13 head, rooting hair, rooting needle, and root it, and an entire Regular's body for his hands.
