I have a couple of Delilahs, though I keep them both in their default outfits because that's why I bought them LOL. That said, I hated the boots that came with the Dark and Defiant one, so I bought her some Ellowynn boots off of Ebay. They fit, but it was a bit of a tight fit for sure. The DD one has the high heel feet - I hate them but can't replace them since they don't make flat feet in that one's skintone
Delilah is beautiful. I love the wig you have on her. I have a Delilah, but no photos yet. The patterns fit her very well, but now that VV has mentioned that there may be others floating around from doll magazines and such, I think I'll have to paw around and try to find them. Please post pictures as you work on her. Your dad is a sweetheart.
I'm so sorry to hear that. There's always a chance that it will end up happening anyway. Sometimes things have a way of just working out. Other times...well. Maybe it'll just mean that you'll have something else that you'll end up loving even more because this happened.

Amazon does this to me all the time. If it was actually Amazon and not one of their affiliates, sometimes they discover their inventory system was wrong. If it was one of their affiliates, the affiliate sold out and just canceled without bothering to give you or Amazon an explanation. Amazon is utter crap at policing their affiliates.
I'd got for that clothed Lady Onyx if I were you. If you don't like the black lipstick it comes off with some isopropyl alcohol and a Mr Clean Magic Eraser and doing lips is the easiest part of a faceup.
Of course it might be worth giving the straight up auction a shot too.
