Volks sale - did you get anything?

Hmnnnn....I'm glad for everyone that they managed to snag some stuff, but I'm putting it out there that I feel this was a bit of a misadventure for most of us. Everyone seems quite bummed out, me included. The 1/6 heads were completely gone even before the web sale, and everything went like wild fire! I think most of us were left with a sense of dissatisfaction over the whole thing. At least the 1/6 heads still seem available on the international site, but I'm not holding my breath.

Pardon my pessimism, carry on.

<---You didn't miss much Jobee. Anyone looking for cheap customizing stuff was pretty much out of luck. The heads were gone before the actual net sale! It was pretty crazy!

Yeah, the heads and bodies being out of stock was really annoying.

My order was held for more out of stock items, I got an email about that. I replied to replace some items and not others. Two days later I got a reply that all 1\6 clothes were out of stock. I have no idea why they emailed me if they had no items to replace with (unless they have larger items in stock).

I find this all frustrating.

That sounds like a common story with this sale. I don't think Volks really thought this all through. They really dropped the ball. It sounds like their automatic service isn't properly set up to filter in stock/out of stock items either. Truthfully besides a lucky few it sounds like this was a pain in the ass for everybody. The heads and bodies being out of stock was really annoying because...why not just take the stupid things off of the site, you know? It's like they're going "Lookit what you can't have for insanely cheap prices!" Hah, I'm trying not to be so bitter about it all, I swear. (HINT: I'M FAILING. )
