Yooooo, I managed to snag a set of three wigs from an auction on ebay for $28! Not to mention they're the kind of hairstyle I've been looking for for my doll, which makes it ten times better!

Sweet! I'm always excited to find the styles I envision. It's harder than one might think.

not having enough money for this hobby sucks, because i haven't been able to fix up Natalie at all since i got her aside from removing the hot glue chunks from her everything. that being said, Mimiwoo's soft Pullip scalps are my absolute savior ... planning on getting one soon. (for some reason, asking my mother for a $12 doll scalp makes me really nervous, but talking her into helping me pay for a $40 3DS game apparently does not ... )
after the scalp, she needs a new body, a 27cm Obitsu one ... then she'll need a wig, new eyechips, and i'll need to somehow wipe her faceup and get her a new one. she's a mess alright, but she's my mess. my adorable, expensive mess ...

...My IOS Jaguar head arrived today - and now that he's here in person I've just realised who he is, I knew he wasn't quite an impulse buy!

He looks remarkably like a stylised Richard O'Brien - sooo he's going to be Mephistopheles Smith, the evangelist for hell. The head is a lot ...pointier in real life than photos tend to show. He's got a devilish smirk that I think I can make more playful than evil so once the weather clears up he'll get a face-up, and it's jiggled around my doll plans a bit... Pleasantly surprised by the size of his head - it's similar in scale to Dollshe Saint, so more realistically proportioned than I'd hoped!

Granado Hansel - Dr Franknfurter (who in the jawline at least if not the nose, also looks fairly similar to ROB... )

Soom Lazule - originally planned for the distant future but now bumped up, partially for his headsculpt who I've had plans for for quite a while, partially for his body - which will be going straight to Jaguar and getting some hooved feet...

...and another DZ65cm body - unless anyone knows of another body in that size-range with a similar "attitude" about how it poses? ...Nicholas Rush is getting bumped off the body he's currently residing on for Myrretah's wonderful Cain sculpt - who should match the nearly white late 2013 "pink skin" better than the Simply Divine Alec sculpt, who's a greyish yellow. I'm thinking the same body but in YS, but does anyone know if DZ yellow has gotten paler since the nearly-tan yellow it has been recently?

Just a shame I have absolutely no money for dolls and probably wont have for quite some time!

There are so many characters I'd like to shell out right now, but I am very happy with the Mystic Kids Sean and Sweet Dolls Alice that I'm getting this summer. Granado is prepping another body and I'm sure I'll want to buy that one, too! ha. It's not revealed yet so we don't know if it will be a slender Titan or a slender standard SD male.

I still want to get that little Obitsu Alice, I just haven't yet. I thought about halting doll buying and put some money into better clothes. That would be really nice since half my fairy crew are sitting naked on a shelf.

I decided to not get more BJD until my thesis will be finished, but I'll probably break my promise and get an Hujoo Freyr very soon. My girls needs a boy to pester U_U I'd like to have a Nano Freya too, to complete the family, but I'll probably get her in another occasion, I'l feel too much guilty getting two dolls to paint and dress now that I have so little free time.

Two new 1/6 bodies coming in, an off brand "TT M22" and an MX slender in the hopes one might work better for the Nick Sherlock head I want to make. Both are long neck so one of them will work to give Stephan McGann something less broad shouldered than the BBI 3.5 he's on. That means the Chuck Morris head can go back on the BBI and give me the option of using him.

When I saw Makies, I went crazy over them. I wanted one really bad. No, I wanted two, one to be me and one to be my Hubby. Why did I want them so bad? Not because of their faces. Not because of their bodies. Because of their glasses and shoes. Tons of different styles guaranteed to fit. I wanted them so bad because of glasses and shoes. Seems silly now, doesn't it? Yeah. I wanted glasses and shoes to fit something for a change. Totally not worth getting a whole doll for.

I'm gonna see if their glasses will fit dolls I have, because I love glasses, but other than that, I've decided to let go of the Makie dream and focus on the precious dolls I have. <3

The MX is out of the Sherlock race, not tall enough but a nice body. Just scored a pair of black bodies to try turning in to French robots. Going to have lots of parts to bash, and I have a head I painted like Jeffry Combs as Herbert West...

I'm actually going to have more tushies than I have heads I want to use or make.

...Dammit saw one of the advert banners on DOA Luts have a Kid Delf called Lio out? (No idea how long he's been around - I've not looked on their site for months)

I really really hope he's truly an Unlimited. Cos I have no cash and he'd be rather far down the "to buy" list - but I think he's the shell for one of my "mutie/mutant" street kids. Except he's not a mutant... He's actually an escaped cybergenics lab experiment by the sinister government of Neo-USSR in the "main" dystopian earth attempting to created docile hard-labourers/super soldiers that always follow orders. He's classed as a "Failed" attempt - since he couldn't "pass" as human so as not to disturb the xenophobic masses. Too much dog in his DNA.
