(This more relates to the "temptations" side)
Help, I desperately want another Azone Pure Neemo and/or Picco Neemo girl

I am tending more towards the 1/6 Pure Neemo, maybe an M-girl this time (Amaya head resides on an S-body).
As I absloutely cannot affort the "original" compelte Azone girls, I would again buy the body and an Obitsu head separately. There begins the "real problem"; I absolutely cannot decide which head. Another open-eyed? Maybe this time a blank for decals? Anyone wants to buy a ton of knitted jumpers so I can afford a new girl?

Which head would you recommend? I even thought about decapitating a poor unsuspecting Licca... but then again, a complete Licca is more expensive than just a head... (but I saw pictures of Licca head on Azone body and really liked that :) )

Then there are the wigs. I have heard from others that the wigs for the 1/6 are a pain, I really thought is was just mine... Can anyone recommend "easy" to use wigs?

What kind of wigs do you use anyway? So far my S-Gretels uses fiber type from Parabox and Monique. You might want to velcro tape your doll's head to help with holding onto the wig.

Easiest for me are the faux-fur wigs, but sometimes you just want a normal wig ;)

Thanks for the tip; my tiny Obitsu has the Neko head, will swap heads on the girls to try it out on the Azone body; incidentally, my so far only Pure Neemo has the Petite Hime head, so your tips are spot on ;)
(do I want variety or an evil twin for my Amaya... I do so love the Parabox anime eyes  )

As for the wigs, for the Petite Hime head, maybe it is just a bit on the tight side, as I ordered it from mimiwoo's "4-5'' wigs" section and the head states 5 inch. (However, next size at mimiwoo's was 6-7). Will try a larger one someday.

I lol. My rooted Neko head is on a 25cm body and is cousin to my S-Neemo. Neko does have a more anime looking head. You can check out Cocco and Muffin/Momo if you are more into the anime look for open eyes and go anime eyes with them

I had been wanting to get anime eyes for my S-Gretel but never got around to it.

FreakStyleBJD have a pre-order going for Salome, with up to 6 month layaway. So very, very tempted...

I find FreakStyleBJD Salome really cool, especially for her body... her face is nice, too, and full of personality, but a bit too realistic for my actual crew. If you decide to get one, Am, I'd really love to see a lot of spam of her

It'll be a few months before she arrives but I caved in so there will be spam when she arrives :)

Am, she looks lovely! Never heard of that brand before. Really looking forward to seeing the pic spam :)

(Kinda "glad" they are far out of my price range; their Puck is gorgeous, too )

My only plans for dolly buying is selling Amiga's fleshtone body to buy a white one to match her head. I'm dying to add some details to her body, so I am impatient for this. I've lived with the darker body for 8 months, I thought I could get over it but just can't.

...Finally had a couple of days where inspiration and dry weather coincided - so my selection of blank heads got face-ups, and actually my two floating Dollshes (a Van and an SA Saint) were redone, given how shocking their previous paintjobs were! I'll try and post photos tomorrow when there's light again.

Surprisingly despite the fact that I thought the blank sculpt was incredibly boyish, my Akagi Ban has turned out to be a girl... Specifically a punky scientist (crytallography specialist/metallurgist who works for Rolls-Interstellar on their jet-engines and prototype space faring kit) and a bit of a gamer nerd, she hangs on the same areas of the web as Elrana and Anon. (Though she has no where near their computing skill) Her name is Rex. The expensive commissioned wig still works thankfully! I suspect she'll be getting the new Mirodoll body when I get doll money again - since it's lanky, small-boobed frame is perfect for the character. But yea awkwardly she's completely stolen the rainbow look my spoiled-heir character was supposed to rock... So no idea what he's going to look like when I do eventually find his actual shell!

Cain has turned out to be an utterly wonderful sculpt to paint up - the resin has just the right amount of tooth to take pastels evenly. He's definitely my Samuel Vimes sculpt - though I'm a bit nervous about how his look will come across in photos; it's really nowhere near the traditional "pretty" look that BJDs normally have - Sam Vimes is a cynical copper, who lurks in the dark of night, with cardboard soles on his boots, and who smokes some of the foulest cigars known to man. So naturally he doesn't look healthy or glamorous or even very clean...

...And then there's the two frustrating sculpts - IOS Jaguar and my Bowie MNM... The Bowie MNM is utterly gorgeous, giving it a face-up has proved to me that the likeness is utterly spot-on. I just think I've managed to give him a very bland/souless face... :? And the Jaguar sculpt... Well I painted him up like ROB as Mephistopheles Smith, which on his rather ...cartoony features doesn't look quite right. Eh you'll see what I mean soon if you care to look!

...reshelling Szesil Markowski and Garan Idasson
