I want a Magical Angel Kelly. I just need him in my life.
I hope I will be able to save up for him.

i grabbed a mirodoll body because, ya know, sale! lol. so now i'm looking around at MSD heads. I've been wanting to make a BJD that's less a pre-conceived character, and more a pretty goth girl i can use to play with making clothes and just goofing around with. I found a nice headsculpt from DIMdoll that i think i'm gonna go with, since it's wayy different than my normal crew. beyond that, it's just figuring out what kinda name i'll give her.

*Sigh* I'm drooling over Island doll's Eric sculpt. I'm in love with his face and his double jointed body. He's mature but not grumpy looking like some SD boys. However, at a base of about 400$, he'll defiantly have to wait lol

Birthday stuff has come and gone (well, sort of. My birthday is May 15th, and the Evil Overlord's is March 11, but we both try to get our birthday stuff in April for budget reasons - May is the electric bill's catch up month, for example. This year I got my computer desk replaced.)

But back to the point, it's time to start saving change for the winter hols. If Volks never restocks their 1/6 vinyl guys, then I want a pregnant Midge for xmas...

Have you seen pregnant Steffi? Holy heck, I didn't know Midge was so valuable these days! Steffi's pretty reasonable, but Midge is cuter. :)

OK, so I've already said that my dream doll is a Dreaming Doll Little Elva Airi, but I know I could easily fall down the rabbit hole. There are some really cute YoSDs out there, too. And I think how fun it would be to make a Satsuki and Mei (from Totoro) set. And the Lutece twins and Elizabeth from Bioshock. And, and, and. . .

I've always loved miniatures, and I really like sewing little things and making little clay foods. SO really, I just need some dollies to make for. Yeah. That's it. Mmmm hmm. ^_^

Steffi Love Welcome Baby? Yep... she seems really hard to even find in the U.S., though. Even Amazon says they're out of stock. I can find them on ebay, though... but usually about $25-$30 a pop. When it gets that high, I'd really rather save just a smidge more and get the Midge. Like you said, she's cuter. XD

Yay, Bioshock! First FPS game I ever bothered to get and play, at least 1 and 2... I'm still delayed on getting Infinite, but plans for it eventually (and the rest of the Mass Effect series). And I plan to sew a Little Sister dress for Amy. (who is/was originally an Awesome Skateboard Stacie barbie doll). Only, maybe a cleaner version of the dress, as shown in the second game. Because I really just think it's a pretty dress. XD

XD I know what you mean. There are just SO many crafts I love to do - art, polyclay, sewing... the only thing tying them all together for me is doing them in playscale for the dolls! XD

I have had my eye on the Dollfie Dreams ever since I learned about them... But I just don't feel comfortable spending that much money on a single doll even during times when the money is good and my budget could technically allow for it. Don't get me wrong, the sculpts are gorgeous and I adore their anime aesthetic, but I'm going to refrain from buying one for the time being.

Could only say take your time on the Dollfie Dreams, they come out with new limits every few months. Friends who own them had been tempting me the past 5-6 years with Yuki Morikawa, Alna, Illya and basics like the Aoi and one of the newer blank heads. 4 times over I ended up with an Parabox-Obitsu and 3 bjds from Iplehouse and Souldoll.

Shinon of Swordart online tempts me but my floating head Obitsu(existing character with 5 bodies now... O_O!!) is already countering her.....

Kinda tough to buy a doll when your heart is not set on it. The right one will scream at you to 'Take me home! Now!' and somehow work to counter the 'want' dolls as far as things go for me.

Yeah, you're right - my heart really isn't set on the Dollfie Dreams. I know this because I was browsing the marketplace and found a really nice Luts head and body and thought to myself, "That'd make a nice addition to my collection". But that was in spite of the fact that the total cost would have been close to that of a Standard Dollfie Dream.

So... I guess what that means is that maybe deep down I'm more into resin dolls than their vinyl anime-styled cousins after all! ;)

This young lady is still waiting for my Parabox doll to get a new Obitsu body for the past 5-6 years. She has a dollfie dream version (limited vs standard vs blank for me to choose) that I would like to get done but am in no rush to do so. I'm kinda hoping to be able to see certain heads in person before deciding.
