Waiting for what, animeangel? A few questions can help.

1. What company did you order from? Some places take longer than others.

2. Did you order through a dealer, or direct from the company? Dealers often don't place orders with a company but once or twice a month, which increases the wait time.

3. Did you use layaway? If so, you might want to check when the company/dealer begins work on orders. Many dealers won't place an order until it's been paid off, and many companies won't begin work on an order until it's paid off.

Ordered a pink skin Shuang er from Mint on Card yesterday, and have been repeatedly checking my email for a shipping notice all day. This will be my biggest doll, and I am a little intimidated.

I'm finally getting to the absolutely hair tearing out stage of waiting! I ordered a Souldoll Kid Shaun in sandy brown through Denver Doll Emporium in early Dec 2011. He's still not here. Dolls that have come out after him have shipped to DDE and I'm talking special edition dolls like Souloid Iraki...I so expected to have my Shaun before those shipped And the new years dolls are starting to ship too... On top of that, I ordered a Dollshe Rosen Pure Body in pale tan back in Feb, paid him off about a month later and they said they're getting ready to start production on him!! It's because the color and sculpt combo is so rare ( the backlog is apparently in all the lighter tones). But seriously...if I get my Dollshe before my Shaun...OMG pigs flying. I know it takes longer for dealers to get their dolls ( I've gone through DDE before) but man, this is killer, especially when I see other people have gotten theirs...all us sandy brown Shaun DDE orders from both November and December are sobbing in agony.

Alas, I just had to get that off my chest...sigh. Back to waiting...patiently...but seriously, Dollshe before Souldoll! Totally would be world ending. *_*

Nice to know I'm not the only one waiting however mine is a normal skin tone not one of the special ones so why the long wait
and I know its not DDE's fault I know its not but still.... almost five months? isn't that over doing it for a wait on a BJD?

Not really. I hear about people waiting six months and more all the time. I waited about 4 months for my DZ Annie from DDE, and that was during the slowest part of the year. And about the same for my RS Jun, (through FeatherFall) though that was also because I ordered him during the Chinese New Year.

0o oh gosh I hope its not more my mom is getting more annoyed about it then I am with the wait as is we are both hoping she comes in june at the latest or that we hear something either this week or next

Yeah, wait times can be killer. I ordered my DD Saber Alter 2nd back in September and they're saying that the first wave won't be shipped out till around June, which is cool. However I'm in the second wave, which hasn't even had a shipping date announced. At this rate I'm sure I won't get her till this next coming September... a year is a long time to wait
