Well I think I have to now because I got all the accessories to complete the doll coming (not really sure how to justify spending $36 for a wig, but it's the style I wanted). I'm hoping to get the actual body and a DSLR next month.

I've totally confirmed to myself with my cheapo Taeyang that these guys are a near perfect combo of my 2 favourite scales... Giant 1/3 scale head to customise the hell out of, and 1/6 scale body/accessories to perfect!

I have more then enough money now to afford a Hujoo MSD boy but now I'm just feeling that spike of guilt of "Oh but what i he's not worth it? That's 138$ down the tubes..." I really have been wanting one for years but I admit... I'm suddenly not feeling so sure.

I'm gonna think about it for awhile and not overly worry if I spend most of the money because I figure if it's meant to be I'll have a kneejerk reaction of "STOP"

I actually need help planning out my doll family if anyone out there wants to put their two cents in?^^ So far my doll family consists of a Ciel Phantomhive azone, Menma Honma azone, and Ai Enma custom azone obitsu hybrid. Sadly, I've fallen out of love with Menma and Ai, especially after Ai broke her foot. I'm thinking of either selling or customizing Menma to look like Schneewittchen from 7th Story Märchen, a doll I'm definitely adding to my collection. Her face and hairstyle already work, but I could use the money to commission Schneewittchen's dress or get the Sebastian Medicom RAH. I'm also considering making Sieglinde Sullivan, Alois Trancy, Luka Macken from Black Butler, Tettere, and Dornröschen from 7th Story Märchen, Madness of Duke Venomania Gakupo, Sandplay Luka, Cantarella Kaito and Miku, Story of Evil Rin and Len, and Cytus Genesys Iris and Rosabel, all of these different sized obitsus. The problem I'm having is if I should make Sieglinde, Alois, Luka Macken, Tettere and Dornröschen, as I'm worried I'll fall out of love with them like I did with Ai and Menma. I'm also worried Alois, Luka Macken, and Dornröschnee will cause a definite split amongst my doll family. I have a similar issue with the Vocaloids, but on top of being worried I'll fall out of love with them or they might cause a split, I'm worried if they'll mesh well with the ones I'm definitely adding. Also, everytime I even look at Vocaloids I want to make into dolls, I fall into this rabbit hole of sorts and I can't decide on anything anymore, I almost just want to give up on the Vocaloids completely. Ugghhh I'm so torn on everything. If anyone wants to help me decide on if I should sell or customize Menma, if I should risk getting Alois, Luka Macken, Sieglinde, Tettere, and Dornröschne, or what to do about my Vocaloids situation, any help would be greatly appreciated!^^

Well Mimi, I suggest you keep the Menma and customize it. I don't know about those characters you listed, but maybe instead of wanting to make dolls of all the vocaloids, just pick your favorite two vocaloids and make dolls for them?

Seconding the thought on about keeping Menma and reprogramming her into the character you want As for the others you could pick out ones you love most and can see as a doll in the sculpts you're getting, create those characters and latter have those characters get more outfits by coslaying the ones you didn't make.

I have a core team of OCs and customised media characters and they had a fun time cosplaying from Vocaloids(granted the Vocaloids retired their costumes and moved onto something like Love Live but more The Supreme/Jackson Five) to Street Fighter to Ghost in the shell and other stuff and back again. I had only recently seen One Punch Man and I have two dolls ready to take on characters if needed. They are quite the quick bunch since it usually means less Figmas and new dolls for me, more clothes for them.

And my dolls are dual scale to boot, their main connection with each other is that four big ones are technically the upsize version of the 1/6ers and essentially do the same thing.

Don't worry too much and just let whoever is ready to be dollified to crossover and work with you on how you see their concept.

Do you guys think Hot Toys Royce could pass as Peter Wingfield? Totally thinking of who I'd have in my future 1/6 scale TARDIS crew and Methos inevitably made the list...

(Edit: Totally need to go and watch the film Predators now anyway, apparently the whole thing can be watched as a fanfic starring Methos with the right mindset! )

Edit2: Also this gif makes me horribly aware of how Fifth Motif Venitu-esque the incredibly young Peter Wingfield is... Apart from the nose that is!

@Jobee and Iwa_Hoshi: Thank you both for your advice, I think I will use Menma to make Schneewittchen.^^ As for my Vocaloids, I think I'm just going to give it some time. Wait it out, see what passes the test of time, which ones I absolutely need or can pass on, which ones will mesh well in the family. Maybe if I'm not too worn out from making Schneewittchen, Rosabel, Iris, Sieglinde, Tettere, Alois, Luka Macken, and Dornrösche, I'll consider picking up Vocaloids again. Goodness I have so many on the customs list...better get to work!

@Vetinari: Royce actually could make an amazing Peter Wingfield. Good luck on your custom!
