Try it with a wig and a faceup before you give up on it. A faceup can make some difference in apparent proportion of features, and a wig sure does.

I joined this place a little while ago but haven't even lurked - then one day at the Other Forum someone asked about Gia. I wanted to help them so I went searching for anything I could on her. Google brought up a post from here expressing the outrage that the sculpt was deemed OT at the other place.

Holy smokes I am so glad I am not alone in that sentiment!

I bought Angelsdoll Shakan at full price and I'll admit now I did it because I was really offended by some of the opinions expressed about the sculpt. People nit picked about every detail from his nose to his ankles - they even called him "fat".

I admit I do feel there are pros and cons about the company web site and their products and I have posted my thoughts at the other place. However I have similar thoughts about all companies regardless of their popularity or *gasp* the country of origin of said products.

Ultimately nothing has stopped me from buying from Angelsdoll 3 times now. First for Shakan, then for some hands and recently a gray skin Violet head. It is unexpectedly amazing. Not just ok, but amazing.

Some of you have seen this pic before but I haven't taken any new ones. I'm still trying to figure out how to display these dolls let alone how I want to customize them. They're both huge and Shakan is very heavy.

I am an Angelsdoll fan. I'm 100% satisfied with everything I have bought from them. Infact I might sell off the rest of my collection because I feel really happy with these two.

I recognized your avatar!
I am glad that there are people out there who really like Angelsdoll.
Personally I think Gia is a surprisingly lovely sculpt. I wish we could see owner pictures of her.

She is pretty, though I don't know if I plan on owning one myself. <3

Huh. So I've found an Angelsdoll that I really want to buy, the Kruz. If they take down good dolls often, should I get him while he's available or wait until I sell my Dollmore first?

What do you guys think? I'd hate to miss out on him having just discovered the thing exists.

*edited out Kyle Reese, I have an Uri Rich. I ALWAYS get those two mixed up.*

Kruz is still new, you should have time.
I don't know much about the company either but I've had 3 good experiences with them so far.

I haven't heard of AD removing dolls... just re-designing bodies.

haha... speaking of redesigning bodies, what generation is Dragondoll up to now, 3 or 4? Gah. I liked #1 the best.
