Only a couple of degrees warmer and it'll be face-up weather!! (And mask sealing weather - but that's another matter.) Totally planning a huge revamp of many of my dolls - and I'll finally be able to paint up that cheapo Taeyang guy who's lying around in pieces... (Slight problem is - I've forgotten which of the two sets of screws are internal/external for his head :? )

My mismatched Sabiks (Jareth and Jerome) and Saint's (Tommy's sleepy/grumpy faces) faceplates in particular are all crying out for better faces... I was just having one of those days where nothing quite goes how it's supposed to - but I persisted with it and the end result wasn't great (and now that I have to call Jareth/Tommy's namesake The Late Great Thin White Duke - well they deserve to be closer to Bowie's look as I intended from the very beginning.)

Hrmm - given that the epic December order of Doom is still at an unknown stage of completion I hesitate to put forward too many ideas but since 3/4 of them are for floating heads that are pretty set character-wise I don't think my current plans are going to be too far off from the eventual end result, though you never know in this hobby! (My first attempt at shelling Sir Samuel got stolen away to be Nicholas Rush so I'm trying to be cautious and not pre-buy too much outfit related stuff...)

More reasons why I like Iplehouse, they are kinda like the 1/3 version of the 1/6 action figures that I'm so used to(The rest of my 1/6ers have already picked out sculpts that they can be, if I'm ever gonna upsize them. As long as they are aware that props and dioramas may be harder to come by at1/3).

This new SWAT line interest me since there is the potential to get parts for Leon Kennedy's outfit and sort of a homage to Mini-Jack's base - Riot Cop Mason. Granted I have to reshuffle some planned orders.

...Ah bugger, I vaguely keep an eye on Mandarake, since they're one of the few places online that regularly stock interesting 1/3 Obitsu clothes... The fullset Visuadoll boy they've got at the moment is gorgeous! Shame that I don't have enough doll money right now for a bog-standard Obitsu 55 let alone one of these guys! (Gods I love his grumpy little face though - he'd be perfect to shell the leader of the rival gangleader to my male Gretel. But no doll-wise I am totally and utterly skint. I hope he ends up going to someone who takes lots of photos and posts in the English-speaking doll forums!)

I am a bit slow. My line of thought was stuck on wanting to continue Leon Kennedy. I just realised that if I get the EID size one. I might be able to do Solid Snake. And then mess around and see if I can get Meryl with that whole "Iplehouse Luna has slight resemblance to Meryl" line of thought.

Granted I'm not sure if I can bring the guns through customs without issue. But then Snake can do without weapons for a long time.

 They have SWAT dolls! That's really funny to me for some reason. But they do look pretty cool. I'm gonna go look at them on the website.

Lol. If anything, the SWAT team rotated "Leon and Ada" back in to argue the case of whether or not I should buy 1 size bigger for the cool HID vest for RE6 China stage Leon, regular EID SWAT for Jack or stick to getting new glovable hands for "Ada" + holster pack for "Leon".

That's a lot of decisions.

(off the record, I LOVE Leon's China outfit. Yum.)

 Trust me, I already knew about that movie. I've watched it close to 10 times... I love zombies and Leon. Win-win!

And Aileen Dolls came out with Sakura themed Rot and Shy dragons. XD They are super cute, though I'm not much a fan of pink.

Got one for my aunt since she doesn't have Rot yet.
