I seriously want to sign my life away for all the cute tinies from Dream High Studios. I am resisting, but barely. XD Also, Papilio from Fairyland is too stinkin' cute. >< Too poor for buying dolliehs right now though.

Not entirely sure if I became a Leon and Ada fan because I enjoy the earlier games or that Jack and Helen has done too good a job in the 'cosplay my interest' department.

I am amused that Helen has not made any attempt to hijack the newly announced Hot Toys Ada action figure(Ada might be distinctive enough to counter Helen's attempt  ). She's leaving it to resident Chinese women (the Chun Lis) to vote on her. Oddly 1/6 Helen never got around to cosplaying Ada. It could be that her rooted hair is too long.

On the 1/6 front I do have most firearms except for the crossbow, of which mine is more like 1/8...

All I can 'hear' is 1/3 Helen and Jack wondering if the crossbow and jacket comes in 1/3 scale and broad shoulders EID hero scale...

Plan wise, I am sort of making plans to make a custom of Young Macintosh from Disney Pixar's Brave, but making it more in line with the appearance in Once Upon a Time since it'll be a little easier to find a face sculpt that fits there. I'm also hoping to maybe make Merida's armour from that show because that was freakin' awesome.

Also in the plans is... saving up money. I want to be able to get an Agatha Primrose, I think, so that will take some saving. I'm still looking - forever looking - for an Agnes Dreary so I will be saving money for her as well. There's one other thing I have in mind that I'm going to save for but I'm not mentioning what here because I'm trying not to jinx myself.

I'd be grateful for any good saving tips!

To save for a doll look at all your spending and see where you can budget better. This hobby helped me cut down on others I wasn't that in to and many impulse buys. It also helps to cut down on buying snacks because that could be doll money. Get piggy bank and label it doll money, we save our coins and it adds up fast. Make a chart of how much is in your doll savings account. Print out a picture of the doll(s) you want and carry it in your wallet so every time you go to spend you have to look at it and decide if you need to buy the thing.

Have Big Chief wit a year to send out your Doctor Elebenty, LOL.

Quite an amount of dolls lining on the temptation queue. Must be the weather or that the titanic couple just wants to see how much dolls they could effectively counter (yes please counter your alternative shells while you're at it too.)

Barely shrugging off 1/6 Leon and Ada. Dear mine Koon comes knocking at the door.

I have an anthro otter plushie at home. My anthro fox plushie (aka Foxy-kun) wants to know if otter bjd from LUTS can be modded to look like a fox.

I really need to dig out said anthro plushie and take a photo of him, he's been very 'vocal' about crossing over for dollification lately

Doll Chateau came out with a tan skin... If I didn't already have Stacy I would totally get her in tan skin. It would be even more perfect for the character. I'm also tempted by Dollzone Shoyo again as they are doing a discontinuation sale and also offering Tan and Grey skin. Tan Shoyo would be adorable...

Also, I want this doll's outfit http://www.acbjd.com/luna-p-9654.html Cute purple witchy costume! *grabby hands*

For years I've been yearning for a Minifee Chloe on A-line body with cutie legs and bust. I've had to give up on resin dolls because of the cost, but someday I will have her!

I am huge Street Fighter fan who's main focus is on Ryu and Chun Li on account of way too big cast, fangirl shipping reasons, limited funds and space. For the past few years I cut down on a lot of my videogame based hobbies and toys to focus on outfits and dolls.

My heart goes a pounding on seeing this guy. I'm not really keen to go back to collecting "just because its the next new line to come out" I like him lots. I have no space. But he is one of two characters that made me go into Dolls. But I don't even play with my older toys anymore and they are in storage.

So yeah the 1/6 Ryus, VR(technically 1/3.5 Ryu) and Jack (backup mature Ryu = new cosplay outfit?) will be sent to counter that action figure.

Granted of course I may have a hard time resisiting if the action figure was 1/6... (Unless Obi-Chun says recruit)

Been eyeing up the 1/4 scale Hot Toys Iron Man on and off for quite a while now... If it's still available by the time I've got that kind of cash handy it may well be an inevitability!

In a more BJD related theme, anyone know a bjd company that makes resin in a fair match to Obitsu white skin? I've got a Dollmore head in an unknown skintone (possibly normal? No idea, it was a random event head) that's just a hair on the yellower side than the Obitsu white skins I've got, and figured quite a few people would have Obitsus to hand. I'm tempted by the idea of using an Obitsu 40-50 to hybrid it, but none of the bodies are quite in the style I'm after so figured I'd ask and see what came up.

...reshelling Szesil Markowski and Garan Idasson

Anyway. If Flickr does not get offended by the buttcrack of headless dolls and delete my pic.

First off my trio have mellowed somewhat to a creamy color. visually I would recommend Souldoll Vito boy/girl(yes girl is new in line and summer promotion is on) who is a tad darker(leans towards yellow base) than Obi50 white. With Iple(leans towards pink base being a 2nd choice if you love curves and muscle.

My camera keeps picking up pinkness in Iple.
Oh and if I view them from a distance, the skintone don't seem that far off from the Obi50
