Gah - the Hot Toys quarter scale Wantage just came to a head, I'd thought that I was safe because the version I particularly desired was sold out everywhere... Not so, and it's a UK-based retailer that I trust (I scored my Hot Toys Loki from them, and woah looking at the old invoice, it's hard to believe how cheap he was compared to current Hot Toys RRPs!).

I may have to do an action figure cull to afford this guy - the British RRP is ridiculously high compared to the US one, even at the current crashed exchange rate and accounting for VAT, but at least the site is a known quantity, and there'd no epic tax bill later.

Hrmm - if I manage to sell several of my 1/6 scale guys for the rates the scalpers reckon they're worth it might be doable, and it would have the handy side effect of clearing shelf space right? (Damn it's going to be working out who gets the chop that'll be problematic - a couple immediately come to mind, and then get dismissed by second thoughts, greed, and the fact that I was raised by two hoarders so tend that way myself despite best efforts!)

If I manage to successfully budget for this guy (£500GBP, wah!) I'm so going to do a photoset with equivalently scaled bjds, I've got a couple that would make amusingly ridiculous bedfellows.

I found there are other 1/6 dolls like play toys ect. I want to put a 1/6 obitsu head on a 12" 1/6 play toy body. I have order a 1/6 play toy small busted S002 body in white. She comes with high heel feet and extra hands.

Are they like taller than the 27cm Obitsu ala BBI Cy girls?(the Amazons)

My Amazon types wears male heads(M02 Neo Goh 3). I prefer these to the default Amazon heads on account of the vinyl's softness making the features less edgy and sharp looking(Its what caused me to go into bjds....)


The regular Obitsu 27cm bodies gave them a bobble head effect. I'll have to dig out that test shot later

If she turns out to be 1/6 as in Amazons like these instead of Barbie-ish like the Obitsu.

The ones in red and navy are on BBI Perfect Body (default char look) and TTL small bust (reference sake). The one in black(body swap with redhead for this) and blue are on 27cm Obitsu body. I had considered my Obitsu to be average size women while my Cygirls are the taller, bulkier more buildup looking women.


I don't have a Barbie to bridge the difference between a Cygirl and an Obitsu but this page has quite a reference mix. A Momoko would be the Obitsu analog in that collection.

Does his costume comes in EID superhero size?! He's like the one guy that I don't expect ever getting the 1/6 treatment and I had sort of customised an Obitsu-Volks Neo Goh no2 hybrid to be him (because I have an April). Okay I hope they don't release a yellow jumpsuit April, even though my customised gal follows the 2003 redhead look.

I'm very aware of how things go in the attempting to bring in an official figure when I have a customised figure (Obi-Chun is still around, Medicom Chun Li has been deactivated)

I've been playing Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. The entire experience is bringing back memories of FF6 to X. I am close to redressing up some of my 1/6ers in FF outfits. And I want to summon one more of my fave characters - Sabin, who would be a great excuse for 1/3 Jack to be shirtless. And I want to upsize Songstress Yuna to 1/3, since I have her wig and all.

If I can choose an adventuring teamup from 6 to X It would FFX Auron to be sword guy, FFX's Yuna who is summoner/healer/songstress/mage, FF6 Sabin as Fighter and optional 4th member - FF7's Vincent or RedXIII

Guy Man and Thomas. I know I can make heads but they don't always come out. Still going to be some work but it'll be worth it. Good old DMLs with the solid-ish plastic heads. Thinking of going with the Robot Rock era where Tomas' transformation to English teacher began.

Yes this means seeing if I can figure out how to make removable Daft Punk helmets.

If anyone has a suggestion for a taller than average but thin 1/6 body that takes a Dragon head LMK.

Maybe its just me, Long hair guy has some current chubby Brad Pitt if he was younger vibe there. Not sure if I make sense but his younger self has tighter cheeks. A less toned/chiseled young Brad Pitt?
