Bishonen House

They are ball jointed, and have expression face-plates out the wazoo. I've been following this guy on FB since Vetinari posted something about them a month or two ago. I am really excited to see what this guy has been doing with these. So far there is Steve, Nails, and Vince.

He's a one man shop. I think he even casts them all? Not sure on that last point. I really really REALLY am tempted to find a way to buy a Steve.

EDIT: I asked him on Facebook and he said they were 17 inch so they're in the MSD range.

If this is the same guy who cast those other Bishonen House dolls I've seen on DOA in the past , I'd say they're probably in the 70cm range.

Of course, if it is him, he's completely switched up his style, so it's hard to say. Maybe these new guys are smaller.

It's the same guy as Bishonen House. I checked his website and these are cast for a photostory set he wants to create. Apparently he's going to be doing a lot of set building as well. This makes me super excited! I don't know if he still does custom dolls or not. The last post I read about customs was about someone backing out and he'd sold the doll.

I also asked about scale, and they're in the MSD range. I edited my original post to include that new info. I did see his previous casts in the 70cm. They look really neat and very unique.

These guys are for sale apparently, but they're hard to find. He does everything by hand and pretty much by himself, so it must be a terribly slow process.

He went to DollAKon and so he may actually have some on hand. He was selling there! I am so sad I couldn't go this year!

I'd said I'd try and go this year but that was said last year before June 8. As of June 9 my plans rather drastically changed. Ha! (le date I found out about Christopher) ha!!!

MAYBE one of these days I'll get down there. I say that all the time but I really do want to attend that Con one of these days.

Hey, that's really cool. I'm glad you got to see one. There was a contest on Tumblr and Facebook to win a Vince.
