Have you seen this site?

http://mimindolls.blogspot.co.uk/2014/0 ... -azul.html

Just start going through the blogs, I've barely scratched the surface and already I want to make my own plush dolls. There're also other things like clothing to make for various dolls etc. It's just spiffeh (If anyone says that anymore).

... I know I had a scrap of tan polyfleece around here somewhere...

Now I'm wondering if I could make one of those tiny enough to be a dolly for my 1/6-scale dollies... a real challenge...

Re making tiny plush dollies: most of my dolls are cloth button-jointed, ranging from 3" to just over 6". The smallest overall cloth doll I've done is just over 2". It can be done, just takes patience and good light. Very narrow hemostats help for turning parts, and you can find them pretty cheap on ebay. If you want someone to walk you through trying, feel free to pm me, I'd be glad to help.

(Someday, I'll remember to take pics with me when I go to the library, and have a decent connection. I promise I'll have pic eventually. )

I would not recommend fleece for something that small, though I did make a tiny non-jointed plush doll from fleece. The limbs don't turn nicely at all and the nap gets a little messed up. A thinner fabric would probably be less vexatious to work with.

So cute! I might have to try that pattern, there's some characters I'd love to make.

The reason I thought of it was because the kind I have (which was bought as scrap remnants ages ago) doesn't unravel at all and does a great job of hiding thread, so I would be able to have no seam allowances and just overcast edges. I can't find the fleece scrap anyway, so it's probably not happening. XD
