I'm not usually much of a big vinyl doll person, but they're super cute!

And I love the fact that they make a hijab and turtleneck set

I'm interested in the Smart Doll+, which the advertising says, "has functionality to walk around on her own and pickup objects which she can recognize with her built in AI."
I'd like to see that. Then I'd like to see the price tag. Then I'll just stick with regular 50cm vinyls.

It looks like a lot of people are calling April Fools on the Smart Doll +.

I'm sorry to say I think I'll have to as well, after reading something about a built in taser in case of burglars...

I can't speak to the interactive Smart Doll itself (although, yes, Danny seems determined to install every "new" thing that comes out and thusly extending the timeframe a few times), but a friend bought Mirai and has brought her a couple of times to the local doll meet. She's beautiful, facinating, and not at all disappointing. And I need her jeans - they are incredable! :o The "telescoping" doll stand (aka the radio antenna from your grandpa's car  ) is amazing and works so well I wonder why it wasn't thought of sooner.

I'd love to have her (or Kitsuna), but the Smart Doll is low on my list at this post. Still, considering all you get with her, and how hands on and over-the-top picky Danny is about each and every doll that leaves his shop, they are surprisingly less expensive than I expected.

I'm looking forward to the tan versions he's promised to release soonish. It'll be a great way to get a tan girl in scale with my DDs without having to resort to dyeing one myself.

The Smart Doll Plus is something I think will actually happen. Danny makes silly comments all the time, so tasers don't necessarily mean the whole thing's a joke. But the downside to it would be lack of available alternative eyes, wigs, and clothes. Everything would have to be custom made.

I'm also watching his male Smart Doll progress like a hawk. The 65cm Obitsu is good too, but I'm not super sure how Obitsu measures or maybe Volks, because even though it says 65cm it's not much taller than a 58cm tall DD. The Smart Doll Male should definitely be taller since he's based on being taller than Mirai's 60cm height.
The Resin: Nerina (RS sky blue Mei)

The Small Wonder: currently unnamed 11cm Obitsu

The DDs: Ayano, Mitsuki, Akira, Kotone, Selena, Ichigo, Lydia, Hiroki, Kate, Hikari

I like how the plus comes with a portable flamethrower.
It's too bad the 1/3rd's aren't robotic anymore, but I get that this is better because they are less expensive.

I'm excited to see how the internal spine would hold up to posing. It looks less robust than the Obitsu skeleton but the spine looks really flexible and the joints have a much thinner look, overall.

If I could hybrid the bodies with a less anime-style face I'd consider buying one.

Lastly, all dolls should come equipped with flamethrowers. That's just rad. XD
