What obitsu body would work well for a fair skinned pullip? Also, are there any that would be good for this la dee da doll and would I have to modify the size of the neck hole?

What size Obitsu bodies are you interested in?

I am honestly not sure of size yet. I think I want something a little larger than a pullip body. Also, I see I forgot to post the link to the la dee da doll. It was this one.

It probably depends on whether you are trying to still have that "big head" look, or if you want to try and have a more proportional body.

I seem to recall that someone has put a Pullip head on a larger obitsu body - like a 40cm - but I'm not 100% sure about that. I'm honestly not willing to decapitate any of mine to find out I'm afraid :)

IIRC it was someone on this forum - possibly ZirconMermaid? Can't remember what size body though, and we may be thinking of different ones anyway :D

ETA: The one I'm thinking of is this one: http://www.dolliehsanctuary.com/sanctuary/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=10793&p=125741&hilit=pullip#p125741

I couldn't tell if you were interested in swapping a body of the same size, perhaps with better/more jointing or if you wanted to move up to a larger, more proportional body.
I don't have any Pullips so I can't speak for skin tone matches. However, most Obitsus come in what Obitsu calls "white skin", sometimes translated as "whitey". Obitsu white skin is a very close match to Volks normal. Many more dolls compare their skin tones to the Volks colors.
The body in the Zirconmermaid tutorial is a white skin Obitsu 60cm.

I do not want to go that big with the body, plus I think I would be too afraid to try cutting things. I like the big head look, it is more articulation that I am wanting.

Then you'll probably want to go with the 26cm obitsu body. It's the largest of the small bodies and has fantastic articulation. I can't advise on color choices because honestly Pullip vary so much. I mean, I have Mir and she's WHITE as opposed to just very pale. You definitely won't find matches for any of the more tan Pullip - but probably the average one will be OK with the more pale version of the obitsu body.

I think that the Parabox website even has a tutorial (or they used to) on putting a pullip head on an obitsu body. I'm off to go to work for the day so I can't search for it now, but I'm sure someone around here has it bookmarked :)
