Weird dollieh experiences?

Well....Reading some experiences on the net I am curious if anyone's had any odd experiences with their dolls.

I've had some in my childhood.

When I was three I had this doll of the character Ernie from Seseme Street that snored....It would turn on by itself at night. Even when my father got angry and took the batteries out it would still turn on and snore. It creeped me out so much that I put it in my dad's computer desks' cabinant.

At night you could still hear it snore in it. It always happened when I walked by it or in the dead of night when I woke up from nightmares. I hated it and it only stopped after I got another doll a baby doll I called Rosy who was my companion for years. I felt protected by her.

Note: This incident repeated itself from when I was three to when I was five when I got Rosy in the mail as a present. The snoring just stopped.

Another was my Samantha doll (a gift I got as a twelve year old wanting her before she got discontinued) would sometimes appear as if she moved her head and opened her eyes. I would just glare and turn her back....But when I was ten another experience happened with another doll and I recall being so scared that I just grabbed the doll by the neck (it was my current favorite Molly) and shook it. It never happened again until I got Samantha.

I also at six got a doll called Amazing Amy....And it would also turn on even with the batteries off. It wound up in the same place as the Ernie doll (Which no one knew where it was until the first time I was donating toys I ran and found it and tossed it into the pile) and until I recieved another doll from my mother a few months later on my birthday it did the same thing.

Until I moved out of my grandparents house with my folks incidents like that seemed to happen. Note: The ones with the American Girl Dolls happened living in the current house I live in.

Just the other day I had another experience that startled me. Luckily none of my dolliehs were effected...

Anyone else have experiences like this?

When I was little I had a teddy ruxpin bear... I remember he would talk and work without batteries too. I at the time would swear he ate a rubber band I put in his mouth. XD He was freaky. He ended up living in the shed where we stored stuff.

Whether he really did this stuff or not? I don't know, I was a child. xD

The other weird thing was with my Jessie the cowgirl doll I got when I turned 12. xD
It just seemed like her eyes would move or almost blink. (they're painted on, the head is just one piece, there is no way for them to move). Always figured it was my eyes playing tricks on me. I still have her to this day... She actually still lives on my bed. xD

I got to wonder if the wiring in those were just bad... If somehow they could hold a charge for a while without the batteries.. Short circuited? I don't know... But I'd love to find out if something like that is the actual reason. xD

Well my mother and I have always been more intuned to things like that both of us are Pagan and she raised me like that...I don't know what it is...I don't see spirits but strange stuff still happens in the house.

TurtleJen that may be it but it's odd...

Xavier's being the 13th ball joint born on Halloween and his muse playing a character named Saowin aside... I've always felt there are special toys who can come "alive" with enough love. It can work with enough spiritual energy but love is the best and a loved doll will never hurt those who love it.

As for activity my Star Trek figures are busy. It's not uncommon to hear noise coming from them or to find a few think they have somewhere to go and I mean they're displayed on a staircase thing and someone from the middle will jump off and hit the floor without knocking anyone else over, then if I go to look for them they aren't 'here' and I have to look again. Usually it's Dr Bashir.

I also have someone, I think my guardian angel, who likes too borrow Re Ment and return it. Now on the other side I also hit part of my parietal lobe in my tbi and experience "dimensional shifts" in mirrors. Or I live in a TARDIS.

No weird doll happenings for me.

Sometimes I'll think I've heard a bump in the night. I tell myself if none of the four dogs heard it then there's nothing to worry about. ;)

Thankfully, nothing I own has ever done this...

I'm a huge coward, and now I'm at work freaking out about terrifying dolls that move in the night *shudders*

Not with the dolls, no, thank goodness, but yeah, otherwise I've experienced some weirdness in my day. I'm not into going into details but I've been to a few apparently haunted places over the years and experienced things I can't just logically explain away. My dolls are like little guardian angels actually. I never feel anything nasty off them and I always feel better with them around. Once in a while I'll find one has moved a bit, but I think that's mostly gravity. No haunts here where I live. I'd definitely know if there were, shrug.

My dolls are stored in their boxes most of the time. But....

I had a very bad dream one night. I woke up and knew I wasn't alone in the room even though it was just me and the cat in the house. He usually sleeps on the bed with me, but as soon as I woke up, he leapt off the bed, his tail was bottle-brush huge and he refused to go back in the room the rest of the night. The room was also very cold yet when you stepped out of it, you were in a warmth.

I took Moswen (my favourite doll, and a character that is able to travel through dreams) out of his box and tried to sleep in the living room but I was still frightened. I put Moswen back and took out Haniel (a mostly demon character created expressly for serious protection from the big nasties). I fell asleep in less than 10 minutes with him in my arms, feeling safe.

When the Hubby came home in the early morning (he worked midnights) and woke me up, Haniel's head had somehow managed to turn to stare directly at the hall way and his arm had come up to rest against my arm. His head will not easily move due to firm stringing and hot glue sueding and if it had been just my shifting around on the couch, his wig would've been on all twisted up and it was not. His arm might've moved because of tight stringing, but it wasn't bent in the position it normally snaps to.

The Hubby also commented on how cold the bedroom was when he got home several hours after I'd woken from the dream. The cat avoided the room for most of the day when that's usually where he likes to sleep. The room remained uncomfortably cold for several hours after the Hubby came home. The ghosts that do hang around our apartment were also suspiciously quiet/absent for several days. I'm still not sure what that was, but it was powerful and not very nice.

I haven't had odd experiences with dolls, but plenty of weird paranormal stories. XD I will say if any of my dolls started moving, or blinking or whathaveyou, I probably would consider doing a banishing ritual right quick and in a hurry.
