First modification!

I decided to steal some time away for The Doll and tried sueding some of her joints.
I did the moleskin kind, since I didn't have to go get anything.
It was interesting how just a few joints changed the posing.

I felt very bold taking Regina's head off, however I balked at taking her all the way apart. Next time I'm unstringing since that will make the process a lot easier and I'll probably play around with other materials also.

And BONUS - there were little scraps of moleskin EVERYwhere when I was done. And I have moleskin-colored carpet.

Congratulations! I was scared of unstringing my doll at first too, but when I did I realized that it wasn't as difficult as I'd thought (and I didn't even have any unstringing tools, ha-ha). Just remember to label your doll's parts in some way so you don't re-string her back wrong. I forgot to and spent like 30 minutes staring at my doll's legs and the company's photos to figure out which lower leg part belonged left or right.

Just put all the left parts on the left side of your work area, and all the right parts on the right side of your work area.
